Equine shoots
Location
Equine shoots typically take place where your horse is stabled and focus on portraits taken in the yard and paddock using natural light.

I'll be looking for different natural backdrops that we can use to give you variety in your images, such as beautiful trees and colourful foliage.

Style
My equine style is not dissimilar to my outdoor dog photography style in using natural light and the beauty of the environment as a backdrop to showcase you and your horse.

I would encourage you to have some images of you and your horse together. My style is natural and relaxed, and I will support you in looking your best - few people actually like having their photo taken, but I'll try to make it as enjoyable as possible!

I'm open to discussing any additional creative ideas you might have, so please get in touch if you have a vision for your imagery.
On the day
As with all my photography sessions,
the safety of your horse,
and everyone involved in the session,
is of prime importance.

We'll start off by taking a walk around the yard and paddock together to consider which shots might best
be taken in which spot.

Next we'll do the introductions
and give your horse the chance to check out me and my equipment.

Throughout the session we will work together to work safely, conscious of the
boundaries and opportunities to achieve the images you desire.
Equine photo shoots usually last around
60-90 minutes.
